If you travel regularly by intercity bus or train, consider a monthly or annual IJPP ticket. Before choosing, check where you can travel, how long the ticket is valid and whether it is registered to a named holder.

Check available tickets

Monthly or annual?

A monthly ticket covers a specified month; an annual ticket covers a longer period. Check the exact start and end of validity for the ticket you select before paying. Compare the final price with how often you expect to travel.

A route or a wider travel area?

Some tickets are valid on a selected route, while others cover a wider area. Choose according to the journeys you actually need. Check the ticket conditions for your service; higher-category trains may require a supplement.

Named and bearer tickets

A named ticket is linked to its holder. If you choose a bearer ticket, check its usage rules and the type of card it requires. Options and prices may differ, so review the choices shown before purchase.

Buying for an IJPP card

Monthly and annual IJPP tickets bought in advance are loaded onto a supported electronic medium. If you do not yet have one, read about the IJPP card. Eligible pupils and students should also check subsidised tickets before buying.

Only travelling once? See single-journey barcode tickets, which do not require an IJPP card.
